How do you make those backrounds??? I wanna know how. :)

I start with making gradients, and then make a new layer and just scribble some white on the canvis, add a blur to the effect and used the smear tool to smear it around, And then overlay the frost added more bluring and smearing. and then I used a brush to do the little blue sparkles in the next layer underneath.
